Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the Cumbria region is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to perform Legionella-related maintenance tasks on-site, including monitoring, sampling and valve work.

You will document findings, maintain logbooks, and ensure compliance with L8 guidelines while carrying out disinfections and valve servicing.

Qualifications

• Experience with Legionella monitoring or water treatment is preferred.
• Knowledge of L8 guidelines and routine monitoring processes.
• Ability to complete documentation and log books accurately.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella maintenance PPMs including temperature monitoring, water sampling, expansion vessel flushing and outlet flushing.
• Maintain water log books and complete documentation in line with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carry out water system cleaning and disinfections per L8 and company procedures.
• Test, service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves.

We're looking for a Mobile Water Technician, to cover the Cumbria Region

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs like temp monitoring, water sampling, expansion vessel flushing and little used outlet flushing, tank cleaning experience would be an advantage.
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves

Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment

• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
