Mitie Group plc is seeking a Mobile Water Technician Level 2 in London to operate, maintain and monitor water treatment systems across customer sites, ensuring water safety and regulatory compliance.

Role involves completing Legionella maintenance, PPMs, sampling and testing, and supporting basic plumbing works. You will work to ACoP L8, keep water logbooks up to date, and contribute to safe, compliant water systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with Legionella monitoring and water treatment.
• Knowledge of Approved Code of Practice L8 (ACoP L8).
• Experience in Compliance Servicing or water treatment is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs, cleaning, sampling, chemical testing and minor plumbing.
• Perform routine monitoring per ACoP L8.
• Maintain water logbooks and documentation.
• Carry out water system cleans and disinfections per ACoP L8 and Mitie procedures.
• Test, service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs).
• Carry out on-site analysis and chemical dosing.

We're looking for a Water Technician who will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment systems, ensuring water safety and full regulatory compliance across customer sites.

Role Responsibilities

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, and minor plumbing works.
• Carrying out routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice (ACoP) L8.
• Maintaining customer water logbooks and completing all required documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carrying out water system cleans and disinfections in line with ACoP L8 and Mitie procedures.
• Testing, servicing, and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), along with supporting basic plumbing works where required.
• Completing closed system on-site analysis and chemical dosing.
• Carrying out mains injection works.
• Performing cooling tower cleaning and disinfection activities.

Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring, or Water Treatment.

• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
