Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Design Manager for the Water sector in Glasgow. You will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering water projects from concept to detailed design, while collaborating closely with clients to ensure value and exemplary service.

Based in Scotland with hybrid working, the role offers exposure to a major AMP8 programme and access to a global expert network for cutting-edge design delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience delivering multiple projects and managing stakeholders.
• Strong engineering background in civils, mechanical or electrical disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver water projects from concept to detail design.
• Plan and lead the technical delivery of major projects with the Project Manager.
• Oversee design and build projects and owner's engineer services.
• Coordinate civils, mechanical, electrical, process disciplines into integrated solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver best value and service excellence.
• Manage complex collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Foster an innovative environment for your team.
• Leverage Stantec's global expert network to deliver cutting-edge designs.
