Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Design Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary water projects across the UK, guiding them from concept to detailed design in a collaborative, innovative environment.

You will manage design teams across civil, mechanical, electrical and process disciplines, deliver award‑winning initiatives in clean water, wastewater, flood risk and urban drainage, and partner with major clients to drive value and successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Chartered status is preferred; support can be provided to achieve it.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience delivering major water projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver design and build projects across the water sector.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor engineers and ensure quality, safety and on‑time delivery.
