Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering water sector projects from concept to detailed design. Based in Manchester or Warrington, you will partner with clients across the UK to drive value, innovation and delivery excellence.

You’ll oversee delivery, integrate civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines, and work within a role that blends technical leadership with project management in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Engineer with strong technical expertise in Civils, Mechanical & Electrical, Process or other relevant disciplines.
• Chartered status with a relevant engineering institution is preferred; support can be given to achieve this if required.
• Proven track record leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and multiple projects with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a talented team to deliver water projects from concept to detailed design.
• Work on projects across clean water, wastewater, flood risk and urban drainage.
• Influence the future of the industry by partnering with major clients across the UK.
