Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate Director/Technical Director to lead our Catchment Science team's water quality projects across the UK. You will shape technical delivery, oversee project direction and ensure high standards in client-facing work.

Primarily UK-based, you will collaborate with global teams and mentor junior scientists while contributing to business development and bid proposals for major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in geography, geology, geochemistry, earth/environmental science, civil engineering or similar.
• Higher degree in water quality or related field is desirable.
• Chartered with a relevant professional body or working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of water quality projects.
• Provide project direction, including financial management and QA.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to People Management.
• Develop scopes of services with the Water Quality Service Lead.
• Produce high-quality client and stakeholder deliverables.
