Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is recruiting an experienced Associate Director/Technical Director to lead water quality projects within the Catchment Science team. You will supervise and mentor staff, manage project delivery, and contribute to business development for major infrastructure work across UK & Ireland.

We seek a numerate, highly motivated professional with strong communication skills, capable of independent work and collaboration across WSP’s global teams. A chartered status is desirable.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject (geography, geology, geochemistry, earth/environmental science, civil engineering or similar).
• Higher degree in a relevant discipline is desirable but not essential.
• Chartership with a relevant professional body is expected or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of water quality projects.
• Provide project direction including financial and change control and QA.
• Mentor and supervise junior colleagues; potential for People Management.
• Develop and deliver water quality training with Service Lead.
• Develop scopes of services with the team and Service Lead.
• Generate high-quality bid proposals and innovative client solutions.
• Produce client- and public-facing deliverables with clear data interpretation.
