Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Proposals Manager to drive growth in the Water business unit by orchestrating bid submissions and leading multidisciplinary teams. The role involves governance, strategy, and coaching to deliver compelling, high-quality proposals aligned with client objectives.

You will manage bid lifecycle from opportunity through handover, embedding best practices and driving continuous improvement across the bids team and wider business.

Qualifications

• Significant bid management experience.
• Experience producing tenders in relevant markets.
• APMP Foundation or equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of procurement processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Degree-level qualification in an appropriate subject.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value strategic bids as Bid Manager or senior support role.
• Ensure bid governance and bid review processes are followed.
• Input to strategic bid capture planning.
• Develop customised solutions with Opportunity Director to meet client needs.
• Assist in prospect qualification and manage bid team relationships.
• Provide leadership and coaching to bid authors/architects.
• Drive lessons learned and share best practices across teams.
• Train colleagues on bid processes and skills.
• Collate market and competitor information for future opportunities.
