Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Proposals Manager to lead the bid lifecycle for the Water business unit. You will orchestrate multidisciplinary teams, create tailored, persuasive proposals, and drive win strategies that align with client objectives and business goals.

You will embed best practices, coach teams, and advance the organisation’s reputation through robust proposal development and effective governance.

Qualifications

• Significant bid management experience.
• Proven success in producing tenders in markets where PWP operates.
• Senior proposals manager with a track record of winning bids.
• Strong understanding of bid governance and bid review processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex, high-value strategic bids as Bid Manager or senior support roles.
• Ensure bid governance and bid review processes are followed.
• Contribute to strategic bid capture planning and client-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with Opportunity Director to develop customised client solutions.
• Assist in prospect qualification and manage bid teams and relationships.
• Coach colleagues on bid processes and develop team capabilities.
• Analyse bids and share best practices with stakeholders across the business.
• Provide leadership to ensure bids are compelling, competitive and delivery-focused.
• Share market and competitor insights to inform future bids.
