Job summary

WSP in London is seeking a Proposals Manager to lead high-quality, persuasive proposals for the Water business unit, coordinating bid teams and stakeholders to win new work.

You will develop win strategies, manage the bid lifecycle from capture to award, and ensure compliant submissions while supporting marketing and client engagement.

APMP Foundation and strong MS Office/Adobe skills are essential, with experience in infrastructure consultancy and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of private/public sector proposal processes and bid management in infrastructure consultancy or related sectors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite; InDesign desirable.
• Degree‑level qualification.
• APMP Foundation as a minimum.
• Strong research, analytical and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver bid and proposal activities across the work winning lifecycle.
• Lead kick-off and review meetings; manage document control and timelines.
• Collaborate with technical authors, clients and partners to produce persuasive content.
• Ensure governance, review processes and best practices are followed; push for continuous improvement.
• Support wider business development, marketing, client engagement and content management for the Water unit.
