Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Process Engineer in Bristol or Redditch to help deliver clean water and wastewater projects across the UK.

You will work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop technical solutions. The role covers calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and reporting; involvement from feasibility through detailed design and construction support, with mentoring and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience or interest in process engineering and the water sector.
• Understanding of process engineering principles and water/wastewater treatment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of process engineering solutions, including calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and treatment evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and other engineering deliverables.
• Support process design from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction support.
• Contribute to site investigations, asset assessments, treatment optimisation and technical studies.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and understand client requirements to develop practical solutions.
• Build technical capability through mentoring, training and hands-on project experience.
