Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Process Engineer to join our growing UK Water team, delivering across clean water and wastewater projects from concept to construction. You will be part of a multidisciplinary group, taking ownership of technical work and mentoring others.

Based in the UK, you’ll collaborate with specialists across locations such as Manchester, Warrington, Redditch, Birmingham, Derby, Cardiff, Bristol and Exeter to drive resilient, sustainable infrastructure and meet regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in process engineering within water or wastewater sectors.
• Experience with process calculations, mass balances, hydraulics and technical deliverables.
• Experience leading technical tasks or work packages within multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions across clean water and wastewater projects.
• Undertake and review process calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and technical deliverables.
• Take ownership of technical work packages and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Support process design development from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental specialists to develop integrated solutions.
• Engage with clients and project teams to understand requirements and provide practical engineering advice.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to technical development.
• Contribute to bids, frameworks and continuous improvement across the Process Engineering team.
