Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Process Engineer to join our growing teams in Bristol or Redditch, UK. You will support clean water and wastewater projects, developing technical knowledge while collaborating with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary specialists.

You will contribute to calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments, and help take projects from feasibility to construction support. The role offers mentoring and opportunities to grow within the UK water sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical or process engineering or related discipline.
• Interest in process engineering and water sector career.
• Understanding of process engineering principles and water/wastewater treatment.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Desire to learn, develop and build technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions including calculations, mass balances and hydraulic assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and other deliverables.
• Support process design from feasibility to detailed design and construction support.
• Contribute to site investigations, asset assessments and treatment optimisation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client requirements.
• Build technical capability through mentoring, training and hands-on project experience.
