Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Water Network Technician to support our Bedford/Milton Keynes region. The role focuses on maintaining water networks, performing flush and survey operations, and responding to emergencies to ensure safe, clean water for customers.

A company van will be provided for regional travel. You'll join a field-based team, work a 37-hour week with standby duties, and engage directly with customers, delivering excellent service and timely communication while developing

Qualifications

• Education: GCSE level or equivalent.
• Experience in an engineering environment, frontline service preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem solving.
• Customer-facing communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and respond to emergencies on the water network.
• Carry out flushing, surveying, leak detections, pressure and flow tests and valve operations.
• Use asset maps and data to resolve operational issues quickly and thoroughly.
• Travel across the region in a field-based role with a company van.
• Liaise with customers to provide high levels of service and keep them informed.
