Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Water Network Technician to maintain and protect the region’s water supply. You’ll perform flushing, surveying, leak detection, pressure tests and valve operations across multiple locations with a company van, delivering excellent customer service to the public.

Join a field-based team with hands-on training and progression toward NRSWA accreditation. A flexible 37-hour week includes standby and overtime as required, with benefits and a strong pension plan.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Experience in engineering frontline roles.
• Strong technical aptitude and customer-facing communication.
• Experience with water networks, street works or leakage control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and respond to emergencies to maintain the water network.
• Perform flushing, surveying, leak detections, pressure and flow tests and valve operations.
• Use asset maps and data to diagnose and fix operational problems in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customers, providing high levels of service and updates throughout.
