Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Water Network Technician to join the IMRDS team. This field-based role covers the Bedford/Milton Keynes/Leighton Buzzard region with a fully equipped van and a standby rota. You’ll perform flushing, surveying, leak detection, and valve operations while maintaining water quality and customer communication.

You'll receive hands-on training, work toward NRSWA accreditation & LTO training, and contribute to reliable water supply for the region.

Qualifications

• Front-line service experience and strong customer-facing skills.
• Ability to explain terminology clearly to the public.
• Technical aptitude relevant to water networks and field work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out flushing, surveying, leak detections, pressure and flow tests, and valve operations.
• Respond to planned work and emergency requirements in the field.
• Liaise with customers, provide updates, and maintain high service levels.
