Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior/Principal Structural Engineer to join our growing team in the UK. You will lead on delivering structural projects across sectors, working with clients and partners in a hybrid office/home setup from London or other UK offices.

You will design concrete, steel and masonry structures, carry out inspections, and prepare reports to meet client and regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will bring broad structural and civil experience, enjoy mentoring others, and help develop

Qualifications

• Previous structural design experience is required.
• Good knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering.
• Awareness of other engineering disciplines for collaborative working across Stantec.
• Understanding of construction methods and information needs of construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors.
• Report to Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead and develop technical capability.
• Carry out structural design for concrete, steel and masonry structures; perform inspections and produce reports.
• Support client relationships and opportunities across the UK.
