Job summary

Stantec in the UK seeks a Chartered Structural Engineer to lead and grow our Structural Engineering division within the Water practice. The Structural Team Lead will provide regional leadership with hands-on project delivery and mentoring for the team across the Water offices.

Frequent travel is expected to meet with the Structural Team in High Wycombe, London, Manchester and Bristol, and to collaborate with Pune for integrated design and delivery.

Qualifications

Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with chartered status (IStructE/ICE).
Experience leading and mentoring junior staff.
Overseeing project budgets and timelines with hands-on design delivery.
Willingness to travel to meet teams in multiple locations.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and line management for the Structural Team.
Deliver structural design using state-of-the-art techniques.
Drive integrated work with Pune for better collaboration.
Ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time and to quality standards.
Influence others through technical knowledge and communication.
Plan, forecast and co-ordinate resources with group managers.
Mentor staff and develop team capabilities across the region.
Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
