Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Technical Director to join our Infrastructure Planning and Environmental Assessment team in the UK. You will lead environmental inputs to major water infrastructure projects, shaping strategy and delivering multi-disciplinary work across large-scale programs.

You will manage recruitment, bidding, project delivery, and financial performance, while guiding teams and maintaining high standards of environmental design and assessment.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading the successful delivery of environmental assessments for major water schemes e.g. Strategic Resource Options (SROs) or NSIP planning.
• Proven ability to manage teams and develop internal capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental elements of large-scale, long-term infrastructure projects across disciplines.
• Recruit, bid, and deliver projects while managing teams and budgets.
