Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland invites an experienced Technical Director to join the Infrastructure Planning and Environmental Assessment team. You will lead environmental assessments across WRMPs, DPs and DWMPs, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable water resource and drainage solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Environmental Assessments for water sector plans (WRMPs, DPs, DWMPs).
• Strong understanding of SEA regulatory requirements, case law and guidance.
• Understanding of how environmental assessments inform decision-making for water sector plans.

Responsibilities

• Expand and diversify offer in the water sector, working with sector leads and account managers to win new business.
• Provide environmental assessment advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues.
• Lead large, complex projects, overseeing technical, quality, commercial, and health and safety performance.
• Build relationships with clients to support resourcing, programming, strategy development and delivery.
