Job summary

Proftech Talent is seeking a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary engineering design projects in the water sector from planning to delivery. You will coordinate engineers, clients and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and to the required quality.

The role requires experience in project management and design management, with the ability to lead small teams and manage contractual requirements. Manchester-based, with some site visits and home‑working if agreed.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management and design management within multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multidisciplinary water design projects.
• Ensure programmes are on track and within budget/quality.
• Administer NEC and other contract requirements and manage change.
• Develop, update and manage project programmes; report progress to stakeholders.
• Lead and develop Assistant Project Managers and junior team members.
