Job summary

WSP UK is recruiting a Project Manager to join our Water Asset Design team. You will lead delivery of projects involving multidisciplinary teams from optioning through delivery and handover to the client.

You will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and control of defined projects or work packages, ensuring high-quality delivery and a strong emphasis on health and safety across our UK-based teams.

Qualifications

Proven experience in delivery of infrastructure projects.
Working knowledge or accreditation in NEC Contracts.
Membership of professional institutions such as APM, PMI or MICE.
Proficiency in use of project management tools and software.
Competence in stakeholder management, risk, planning/scheduling, and commercial management.

Responsibilities

Manage project proposals including determining project requirements, scope, resources, programme, and cost estimates (budgets) for delivering the project.
Own the P&L with revenue delivery, margin and overhead management, budget and forecast determination and attainment, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls.
Develop project management documentation including plans, cost estimates and forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers, org charts.
Monitor and control the project schedule, manhours, budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
Ensure effective contract management including contract administration and change management.
Manage work performed by project team members, assuring outputs meet project requirements.
Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and promote continuous improvement.
