Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Design Manager to lead water projects across the UK. You will steer multidisciplinary teams from concept to detailed design, delivering award-winning initiatives in clean water, wastewater, flood risk and urban drainage.

You will work with clients and our Project Managers to ensure best value and service excellence, guiding delivery across complex engineering disciplines with a collaborative, innovative approach.

Qualifications

• Experienced Engineer with strong technical expertise in Civils, Mechanical and Electrical, Process or any other relevant discipline.
• Chartered with a relevant engineering institution; support can be given to achieve this if required.
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and multiple projects with stakeholders; previous major projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a talented team to deliver water projects from concept to detailed design.
• Oversee delivery of design & build projects, detailed design delivery and owners' engineer services across multiple disciplines.
• Collaborate with clients and the Project Manager to provide best value and service excellence.
