Job summary
Stantec is seeking a Design Manager to lead water projects across the UK, with offices in Brighton or Southampton and hybrid working. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept to detailed design, collaborating with major clients to deliver award‑winning initiatives in clean water, wastewater, flood risk, and urban drainage.

Qualifications
- Experienced engineer with strong technical expertise in Civils, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or other relevant discipline.
- Chartered with a relevant engineering institution is preferred; support can be given to achieve this if required.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of delivery, including design & build projects, detailed design, and owners engineering services, ensuring complex multi-disciplinary collaboration.
- Plan and lead the technical delivery of projects, working closely with clients and guiding the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to deliver best value and service excellence.
- Leverage a global network of experts to provide tools and knowledge for leading-edge designs.
