Arcadis is seeking a Principal Design Manager for a 6-month rolling contract in the UK water sector. You will provide technical leadership across wastewater and water treatment projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to meet client expectations.

You will collaborate with clients and supply chain partners, manage resources, and drive profitability while promoting safety, quality and innovation. The role offers hybrid travel across the UK and a path to senior leadership within Arcadis.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with professional membership.
• Water industry experience.
• Takes accountability and leads by example.
• Excellent people management for staffing of projected workload.
• Extensive experience in contract, commercial, project and programme management.
• Experience with complex design and delivery frameworks.
• Digitally curious or proficient.
• Excellent communicator across organisations and disciplines.
• Proven ability to build and sustain teams.
• Adheres to Arcadis' vision and values.

Aufgaben

• Technically lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary wastewater or water treatment projects and programmes.
• Collaborate with clients, partner organisations and supply chain to maintain quality and client experience.
• Build and sustain adequate resources for delivery and identify recruitment needs.
• Work with Framework Director, Project Manager and Commercial team to manage programme and profitability.
• Provide Line Management and career development to team members.
• Promote safety, health, quality and sustainability.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practice.
• Perform other duties as required by Client Manager or Arcadis SLT.
• Share knowledge across Arcadis teams.
