Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to support our Water frameworks across the UK. The role involves input into optioneering, feasibility, outline and detailed design for wastewater, clean water, and related projects.

You will work with clients, contractors, and the wider Arcadis team to deliver high-quality design deliverables. Ideal candidates have a relevant degree, water-sector experience, and a drive toward chartered status, with BIM/Civils 3D knowledge and familiarity with British

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in a relevant discipline.
• Progress toward Chartered or Incorporated status.
• Experience in the water industry.
• Highly motivated with influencing ability.
• Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of BIM-based design and Civils 3D.
• Familiar with British Standards and UK Water Codes.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop new engineering skills across the project life cycle.
• Develop designs using latest software and 3D techniques.
• Prepare outline and detailed design drawings and documentation.
• Produce clear design calculations, reports, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Adhere to Business Management processes.
• Support safety, health, quality, and sustainability goals.
• Grow knowledge in commercial, programme, and finance.
