Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to support UK water projects across wastewater and clean water schemes. You will contribute to Optioneering, Feasibility, Outline and Detailed design, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outputs.

The role offers exposure to leading-edge design software, 3D modelling, and collaboration with major water companies and contractors. Progress toward chartered status is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline (BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng) and progression toward Chartered status.
• Experience in the water industry is desirable.
• Motivated, collaborative, and able to influence outcomes.
• Working knowledge of BIM-led design and Civil 3D; familiarity with UK standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop engineering skills across the project life cycle.
• Develop designs using latest design software and 3D techniques.
• Prepare outline and detailed designs, calculations, reports and construction-ready deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and wider project team.
• Work within Arcadis' Business Management processes and safety standards.
• Grow commercially, programme and financial awareness; progress toward chartership.
