Job summary

Severn Trent plc is hiring a Shift Operator to join the Waste Water Recycling team at the Minworth site. You’ll perform routine operational tasks, take samples, analyse data and support maintenance to keep the plant running smoothly.

This role includes a 24/7 shift pattern (nights, weekends, holidays) with rest days planned in. A level 2 Waste Water Process Operator qualification will be pursued through our Academy as part of your development.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wastewater Treatment, Sludge Treatment or Sewage Pumping Stations is welcome but not essential.
• Target qualification Level 2 – Waste Water Process Operator to be pursued via our Academy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor our wastewater treatment processes to keep systems running smoothly.
• Take process samples, analyse results and record performance data.
• Support first‑line asset maintenance and collaborate on capital projects and commissioning.
