Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Technical Operator to join the Water Treatment team in the Worcester area. You will operate and maintain groundwater sources and treatment systems, working with a maintenance and process team under a Team Manager, using control platforms like eSCADA.

The role includes on-the-job and academy training, with a Level 2 Water Process Operator apprenticeship or bootcamp depending on experience, and a UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisation, communication and analytical skills are required.
• Experience in mechanical or electrical environments is advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain groundwater sources and nitrate removal/Enhanced Water Treatment systems.
• Operate DSRs, DBSs and related assets.
• Maintain site standards and health and safety improvements.
• Ensure water quality and environmental compliance.
