Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Shift Operator for its Waste Water Recycling team based at Minworth. You will play a hands-on role keeping the site running, taking samples, analysing results and recording performance data.

The role includes supporting first‑line maintenance and contributing to energy efficiency projects. You’ll work a 24/7 shift rota, including nights and weekends, with planned rest days and an attractive shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Driver's license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep Minworth WWTP running smoothly with routine tasks.
• Take process samples, analyse results and record performance data.
• Support first-line asset maintenance and respond to alarms.
• Help improve energy efficiency and optimise site performance.
• Plan daily tasks, manage emergencies, and collaborate on capital projects.
• Work as part of a 24/7 rota with lone-working expectations.
