Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Senior Technician to join a brand new team in Waste Water Recycling, covering the South region (Evesham, Gloucester, Forest of Dean & Worcester). You will support the team manager in the day-to-day operation of water treatment and distribution sites, helping meet targets around maintenance, quality, supply, safety and cost control.

You will be part of a regional standby rota and be based at one of our main sewage treatment works, with a company vehicle and tools

Qualifications

• Travel to sites will be essential and a full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in water treatment and supply, plus maintenance/electrical/instrumentation work in the area.
• Supervisory/management experience is desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of wholesale assets (people, assets, IT, finance).
• Ensure operations meet regulatory and company requirements for safety and quality.
• Support cost saving, optimisation and improvement activities.
• Assist with budget monitoring and planning.
• Contribute to capital project work with technical support.
