Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Senior Technician to join a brand new team in the Waste Water Recycling department covering the South region (Evesham, Gloucester, Forest of Dean & Worcester). You will support the team manager with day-to-day operations at water treatment and distribution sites, helping achieve targets around maintenance, quality, safety and cost control.

The role includes a 24/7 standby rota, travel to sites, and a vehicle plus tools provided for business use.

Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment and supply is advantageous.
• Experience in maintenance, electrical or instrumentation work is beneficial.
• Supervisory or management experience would be desirable.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are important.

Responsibilities

• Aid the team in day-to-day operation and maintenance of wholesale assets.
• Support budget monitoring and cost control activities.
• Ensure compliance with H&S, quality and company policies.
• Assist with capital projects and liaise with Asset Creation.
