Southern Water is recruiting a Shift Controller for its Durrington (Sussex) site. The role is office-based with a 6-week rotational 12-hour shift pattern, offering a salary from £30,843 plus a 15% shift allowance and standby payments.

• Advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
• Confidence working with multiple IT systems and telephone skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control Sewage Treatment Works and Pumping Stations, analysing alarm data.
• Coordinate rapid responses to alarms and alerts with schedulers.
• Provide accurate, timely information to Southern Water, service providers and contractors.
• Ensure continuous monitoring and efficient operation of facilities.
• Maintain alarm management and prompt responses to avoid disruptions.
• Adhere to health and safety and participate in training programs.
