Job summary

Aston Autopark in Melton Mowbray is seeking a Warranty Administrator / Assistant Workshop Controller to join our busy Aftersales team. This role combines warranty administration with day-to-day control of workshop activity, working with technicians, Service Advisors and Parts to keep work progressing and standards high.

You will coordinate technician workloads, monitor jobs in progress, ensure repairs meet manufacturer requirements and complete warranty claims with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in franchised motor dealership or automotive workshop.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good IT skills and experience with dealer systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate work to Technicians according to skill and availability.
• Monitor workshop loading and progress throughout the day.
• Ensure timely completion of repairs and efficient productivity.
• Prepare, submit and monitor warranty claims accurately with supporting documentation.
• Liaise with Service Advisors and Parts to manage warranty related requests.
