Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Controller/Warranty Administrator to join a reputable main dealership in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. The role blends workshop control with warranty administration to optimise technician productivity and service department operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Workshop Controller, Workshop Foreman or similar role.
• Proven experience supervising or managing technicians.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repairs, workshop processes and warranty procedures.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to technicians based on skills, workload and deadlines.
• Lead and support a team of technicians to ensure high standards and productivity.
• Monitor workshop operations and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Check and authorise job cards and technician write-ups.
• Costing additional repairs and supporting upselling initiatives.
• Perform vehicle health checks and quality assurance.
• Communicate effectively with customers and Service Advisors.
• Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
• Manage warranty payments, credit notes and schedules to ensure compliance.
