Duties

• Preparing warranty claims for submission to manufacturers and ensuring timely payments
• Checking and reconciling weekly statements, querying overdue or discrepancies in claims
• Ensuring all documentation complies with manufacturer guidelines and is accurately completed
• Preparing invoices and warranty claims in line with departmental standards
• Managing open time and job card write-ups effectively as the Warranty Administrator
• Handling policy claims swiftly, ensuring correct customer reimbursements
• Maintaining control over displaced material returned to manufacturers as the Warranty Administrator
• Reconciling warranty credits accurately and addressing discrepancies promptly
• Developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers to facilitate smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in an administrative role within the automotive industry preferred
• Knowledge of vehicle warranty processes and documentation
• Strong organisational skills, capable of managing conflicting demands and prioritising tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure as the Warranty Administrator
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Newport
• A UK driving licence with minimal points
