Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is recruiting a Training Business Partner (Warehouse) at Eurocentral. You will shape our training strategy, ensure safety and compliance, and develop colleagues across multiple sites.

In this role you’ll deliver MHE training, lead inductions, and partner with management to establish annual programs while driving a culture of continuous improvement and customer-aligned training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years practical experience operating counterbalance MHE in warehouse or distribution.
• Current accredited MHE instructor qualification recognised by RTITB/ITSSAR/AITT/NPORS
• Experience in training or assessing roles
• Strong understanding of MHE regulations and compliance standards
• Willingness to travel across sites

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and establish annual training plans across multiple sites.
• Lead and drive safety initiatives to create a safer work environment.
• Plan, deliver and assess MHE training in line with Group policies and standards.
• Create and deliver SSOW and other specialist training modules.
• Conduct the Group Induction for all new employees and ensure alignment with company standards.
• Deliver process, safety and quality standards training for onboarding and development.
• Lead or assist in incident investigations, performing root cause analyses and translating findings into coaching or reassessment.
• Train Authorised Site Specialists in warehouse equipment operation, processes, and systems.
• Engage with customers to ensure training meets client expectations and needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Management: Work closely with management teams across multiple sites to identify training needs and establish annual training plans.
• Champion Safety Initiatives: Lead and drive safety initiatives to create a safer work environment.
• MHE Training Expert: Plan, deliver and assess MHE training in accordance with Group policies, approved standards and operational needs.
• Specialist Training Developer: Create and deliver Task-Specific Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) training and other specialist training modules.
• Group Induction Leader: Conduct the Group Induction for all new employees, ensuring they have a thorough introduction to our company's standards and expectations.
• Quality Standards Trainer: Deliver process, safety and quality standards training to support employee onboarding and ongoing development.
• Incident Investigator: Lead or assist in incident investigations, performing root cause analyses and translate findings into appropriate coaching, training or reassessment.
• Authorised Site Specialist Trainer: Train 'Authorised Site Specialists' in areas such as warehouse equipment operation, warehouse processes and systems, and manual handling.
• Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to ensure training aligns with client expectations and addresses specific needs.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3 years practical experience operating counterbalance MHE within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Qualifications: Current accredited MHE instructor qualification recognised by RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or NPORS
• Training Expertise: Demonstrable experience in a training or assessing role.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of MHE regulations and compliance standards.
• Additional Knowledge (Desirable): Understanding of transport operations and DCPC course delivery.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and travel as required across sites.
