Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our Selby site on a full-time, permanent basis. You will report to the Shift Manager and lead a team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality warehouse performance. Shifts available: 4 on 4, 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am, to be discussed at interview.

The role offers a salary of £35,283 (night allowance included) with 23 days leave plus bank holidays, plus a pension, private medical and dental insurance, GP access, life assurance and more.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a warehouse or fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and people-leadership skills.
• Good working knowledge of warehouse processes and H&S standards.
• Excellent WMS knowledge and stock experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily KPI targets.
• Manage and monitor an effective warehouse operation ensuring SOP compliance.
• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
• Report discrepancies and maintain KPI records.
• Coach and provide feedback on performance; ensure staff are trained to required level.
