Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking four Warehouse Team Leaders for our Avonmouth site. You will lead from the front, supporting the Shift Manager and ensuring operations are safe, efficient and aligned with service expectations.

The role is full-time with a 4-on/4-off or varying shift patterns. Salary is £35,000–£40,000 per annum, with 20–28 days’ leave, pension, life cover, an online GP service and discount–platform benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workload effectively.
• Proficient IT skills: Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Proactive, detail‑focused and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team to achieve daily operational targets.
• Support the Shift Manager with planning, performance and team engagement.
• Monitor KPIs, quality standards and service levels within the operation.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, company policies and procedures.
• Promote continuous improvement and a positive team culture on shift.
