Job summary

GXO Logistics in Birmingham seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team on either Inbound or Outbound operations, ensuring safe, accurate and efficient movement of products. The role is full-time, permanent, on the afternoon shift (2pm–10pm), five days from seven.

Salary up to £29,203 per year plus a £243.75 monthly shift allowance, with benefits including 25 days leave, pension, private medical and dental insurance, and access to GXO University for skills development.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environment and delivering against targets.
• Experience coaching or supporting colleagues to achieve performance objectives.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, safe working practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong IT skills, including experience using warehouse management systems.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse operatives to achieve productivity, quality, and service targets.
• Ensure departmental compliance with health & safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards.
• Carry out quality checks and monitor performance to ensure customer requirements are consistently achieved.
• Support Shift Managers with continuous improvement initiatives and operational planning activities.
• Use warehouse management systems and operational data to drive efficiency and support service delivery.
