Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in Selby to lead a busy shift, coach colleagues and drive safe, efficient operations. You will report to the Shift Manager and ensure high-quality performance across all warehouse activities.

The role is full-time and permanent with 4 on 4 off or 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am shifts; salary (£35,283) includes nights allowance and benefit-rich package including pension, private medical & dental, GP access and more.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a warehouse or fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and people-leadership skills.
• Good working knowledge of warehouse processes and Health & Safety standards.
• Excellent WMS knowledge and stock experience.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational shift team to achieve daily KPI targets.
• Manage and monitor a warehouse operation ensuring SOP compliance.
• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet requirements.
• Report discrepancies and maintain KPI records.
• Provide coaching and feedback to staff to ensure duties are well executed.
