Warehouse Supervisor

Our client based in Chertsey are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to manage workload and team of operatives.

The supervisor role is Monday to Friday.

Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Overseeing the daily operation of the warehouse and warehouse staff to ensure shipments are handled correctly and dispatched in a timely manner.
• Unloading / loading vehicles.
• Building & wrapping pallets.
• X-raying of freight.
• Check weighing freight and updating / notifying accordingly.
• Building aircraft containers by hand (AKE’s and PMC’s) for dispatch to the airlines.
• Updating and final documentation such as MAWB’s and BOL’s.

The role will be hands on building AKE’s as well as updating systems using Word, Excel & Teams.

The role requires excellent communications skills, team player and the ideally candidate will have freight and supervisory experience in managing a team.
