Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee operations in one of our warehouses. You’ll lead by example, managing shifts from opening to closing, training new starters and supporting your team to deliver excellent performance. A competitive salary and benefits accompany the role.

Responsibilities

• Line manage an amazing team, supporting them with development, coaching and training
• Lead the shifts for your area, taking responsibility for colleague performance and your direct reports
• Work closely with other Shift Leaders within your department and across the RDC to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Support your Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management
• Motivate and support your team, aligning with Company Values
• Mentor colleagues and support training
• Proactively promote efficient working methods and spot inefficiencies
• Perform general warehouse duties like moving stock, picking goods and processing returns
