Job summary

Lidl GB in Exeter is seeking a Shift Leader to help run operations in our warehouse, leading by example and supporting the team across shifts. You’ll line manage, train new starters, and ensure smooth daily performance, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.

We offer a competitive £30,000–£37,000 per annum, 40 hours per week, 30–35 days' holiday pro rata, and benefits including a 10% in-store discount, pension, ongoing training, and opportunities to progress within the company.

Responsibilities

• Line manage an amazing team, supporting development and training
• Lead shifts for your area and monitor colleague performance
• Coordinate with other Shift Leaders to ensure smooth operations
• Support Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management
• Motivate and support your team in line with company values
• Mentor colleagues and support training programs
• Promote efficient working methods and spot inefficiencies
• Perform general warehouse duties such as stock movement, picking and returns
