Job summary

The Warehouse Operator role at E3 Recruitment sits at a busy West Yorkshire manufacturing site. You will ensure materials are received, stored and dispatched safely, while maintaining accurate records and complying with safety procedures.

Salary ranges from £27,000 to £29,000 per annum with an annual bonus scheme, strong pension contributions, private medical insurance and life assurance to enhance earnings and security for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in regulated environments.
• Counterbalance FLT license (in-date) is essential.
• Good IT skills with experience in stock management systems.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods and chemical safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and sample incoming materials using SAP.
• Supply production areas and manage stock levels with correct rotation.
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch, including dangerous goods and temperature-controlled items.
• Store and handle chemicals safely following site procedures.
• Carry out stock checks, equipment inspections and compliance checks.
• Coordinate waste collections with proper labelling and segregation.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.

Salary & Benefits

The Role

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in West Yorkshire. This is a varied, hands‑on role where you’ll help keep operations running smoothly, ensuring materials are received, stored and delivered safely and efficiently.

You’ll be part of a team that values safety, quality and getting things right, with the opportunity to build on your experience in a specialist manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and sample incoming materials, maintaining accurate records using SAP.

• Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a regulated or safety‑critical environment.
• A valid, in‑date Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
• Good IT skills, ideally with SAP or a similar stock management system.
• Experience handling dangerous goods and an understanding of chemical safety.
• A proactive, organised approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and work well as part of a team.
