Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in West Yorkshire. You will help ensure materials are received, stored and dispatched safely and efficiently, supporting smooth operations across the warehouse.

The role offers a competitive salary of £27,000–£29,000 per year, plus a bonus scheme, generous pension contributions and a package including 33.5 days of leave, private medical insurance and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, ideally in regulated or safety-critical environments.
• Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date) is essential.
• Proactive, organised and able to prioritise tasks within a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and sample incoming materials with accurate records (SAP).
• Supply production areas and manage stock levels with correct stock rotation.
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch, including dangerous goods and temperature-controlled products.
• Store and handle chemicals safely per site procedures.
• Carry out stock checks, inspections and routine compliance checks.
• Coordinate waste collections with correct segregation and labelling.
• Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements at all times.

Warehouse Operator

Salary & Benefits: £27,000-£29,000 per annum, plus an annual bonus scheme with performance-related opportunities to increase earnings, double-figure employer pension contributions, 33.5 days' annual leave, private medical insurance and life assurance worth four times your annual salary.

The Role

We're looking for a Warehouse Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in West Yorkshire.This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll help keep operations running smoothly, ensuring materials are received, stored and delivered safely and efficiently.

You'll be part of a team that values safety, quality and getting things right, with the opportunity to build on your experience in a specialist manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, check and sample incoming materials, maintaining accurate records using SAP.
• Supply production areas and manage stock levels, ensuring correct stock rotation.
• Prepare finished goods for dispatch, including dangerous goods and temperature-controlled products.
• Store and handle chemicals safely in line with site procedures.
• Carry out stock checks, equipment inspections and routine compliance checks.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a regulated or safety-critical environment.
• A valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence is essential.
• Good IT skills, ideally with SAP or a similar stock management system.
• Experience handling dangerous goods and an understanding of chemical safety.
• A proactive, organised approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and work well as part of a team.
