Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client in Rothley for a Warehouse Operator with a valid FLT licence. The role sits in a busy manufacturing warehouse, requiring reliable, motivated individuals who can handle forklift tasks and maintain high safety standards.

You will move pallets, load vehicles, and help with stock control, working Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

Valid FLT Licence is essential.
Previous warehouse experience required.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

Move pallets safely around the warehouse and store them correctly.
Manage warehouse operations according to procedures and work instructions.
Prepare loading areas in line with loading schedules.
Load vehicles when required.
Operate forklift trucks and other handling equipment safely.
Complete all required documentation accurately.
Identify and report damaged products or quality issues.
Carry out daily equipment checks and report faults.
Maintain equipment per company procedures.
Assist with stocktaking and optimise storage space.
Work closely with warehouse and production teams.
Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout shifts.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures.

The Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, based in Rothley, for an experienced Warehouse Operator with a valid FLT Licence.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operation. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for the safe movement, storage and dispatch of finished goods while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.

Main Responsibilities

Move pallets safely around the warehouse and store them in the correct locations.
Manage warehouse operations in line with company procedures and work instructions.
Prepare loading areas in line with loading schedules.
Load vehicles when required.
Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
Complete all required documentation accurately.
Identify and report any damaged products or quality issues.
Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults.
Maintain equipment in accordance with company procedures.
Assist with stocktaking activities.
Optimise warehouse storage space.
Work closely with warehouse and production teams.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards throughout your shift.
Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
