Job summary

Saab UK, Fareham Introduction, is seeking a Stores Operative to receive goods, process stock, and manage picking and packing to fulfil the MRP schedule. You will ensure accurate labeling, stock locations and safe storage, supporting warehouse operations across the site.

The role requires hands-on experience in stores or warehouse environments, familiarity with ERP systems, and the ability to lift and move stock safely. A proactive, learning mindset and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Stores experience desired.
• Previous experience of working at height is required due to nature of this role.
• Previous Experience with ERP Systems.
• Experience with forklifts desirable.
• Enthusiastic and hardworking.
• Willing to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials and process them in accordance with the MRP schedule.
• Pick Work Orders and Sales Orders based on picking lists.
• Pack and ship orders to customers and label stock for courier collections.
• Organise and retrieve stock; maintain accurate stock locations.
• Maintain stock accuracy and perform general stores duties (loading, unloading, sorting, cleaning).
• Follow safety guidelines for manual handling and lifting equipment.
