Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Stores Operative for its Fareham site to manage goods reception, stock control and order fulfilment within the MRP-driven warehouse. You will handle packing, labelling and safe storage, while maintaining high stock accuracy and supporting yard operations.

Qualifications

• Previous Warehouse or Stores experience desired.
• Previous experience of working at height is required due to nature of this role.
• Previous Experience with ERP Systems.
• Experience with forklifts desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials and process stock in accordance with MRP.
• Pick Work Orders and Sales Orders using picking lists with high accuracy.
• Label, pack and store stock appropriately, ensuring safe handling and contamination-free storage.
• Perform general stores duties: loading/unloading, sorting, cleaning and stock movements.
• Maintain stock accuracy and report discrepancies; ensure all packing for courier collections.
• Maintain equipment and yard area; follow COSHH and manual handling guidelines.
• Assist with waste collection processes and respond to enquiries with urgency.
• Prepare crates/packing materials and support internal deadlines and KPIs.
