Great news! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Operative - Palletising and Despatch to join our Team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Operations

• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
• Despatch order checking against warehouse SAP documentation and accuracy in completion of all warehouse paperwork
• Picking and Put away - allocation and distribution of Finish Goods
• Safe operation of the Warehouse pallet movement systems
• Reach, Counterbalance FLT and Powered Pallet Truck experience (desirable but full training will be given)

Palletising Operations

• Daily Set up of machines to start the production cycle
• Feeding materials / pallets to semi-automated machines
• Responsible for housekeeping within their area (clean as you go)
• Good understanding of food safety culture
• Ability to work in a physical, chilled environment with activities to include bending, lifting and basic manual handling

WHAT YOU BRING

• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Highly motivated, proactive and innovative
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
• Previous experience of working with machinery and/or technically minded
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect and correct errors efficiently on the production line

WHAT WE OFFER

• Opportunities for overtime at 1.5x hourly rate or 2x hourly rate on Sundays
• Weekly paid, 37.5 contractual hours per week on rotating weeks of am/pm shifts, Monday to Friday 05:35-14:05 and 13:45 to 22:15.
